Shropshire Ladies County Championship was won by teenager Lucy Evans of the Wrekin Golf CLub at Mile End Golf Club at the end of May 2010. The leading qualifier was Victoria Bradbeer of Oswestry Golf Club with two 75's she was followed by Lisa Warrilow of Lilleshall Hall Golf Club,with a 80 and a course record 73. In the final, Lucy Evans (right) and Vicky Bradbeer (left) , saw Lucy taking an early lead, which was pulled back at the 6th when Vicky drove over the out of bounds corner shortening the approach to a chip shot and followed up another win by securing the par 3, 125 yard 7th. by holing her tee shot. Lucy moved ahead again on the 9th and 10th and held on during the rest of the round - winning eventually by 2 and 1.
